James Quinn January 26, 2013 James Quinn, 93, a resident of Tiffany Court passed away on Saturday at Manor Care in Kingston. Born in Pringle, he was the son of the late James and Irene Handley Quinn. Resided in Kingston most of his life. Prior to his retirement he was employed for many years at the Duplan Silk Mill and Pittston Apparel. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Ann Jorda and brothers, Robert and Eugene. Surviving are his daughter Joyce Handley and husband John of Dallas; grandchildren John Handley of Forty Fort, Lori Stair of Dallas, Terri Schreder of Montana, Michael Handley of Dallas; great grandchildren, Randy Stair, Jeremy Stair, Megan Handley, Tommy Handley, Samantha Handley, Connor Handley and Isabelle Handley. Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne with Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 PM.
