Obituary of Eleanor Karlotski

Eleanor Karlotski February 8, 2013 Eleanor (Grace) Karlotski of Luzerne died peacefully on Friday February 8 at Geisinger South Hospice surrounded by her family. Born March 2, 1927 in Luzerne, she was the daughter of Margaret Stile. Eleanor attended Sacred Heart School, Luzerne High School and College Misericordia. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Hollywood Store in Wilkes-Barre, Globe Store in Luzerne as a bookkeeper and later worked at Leeds Store in Edwardsville. She was preceded in death by her husband William Karlotski in 1996 and son in law John W. Wallowak in 2009. She is survived by her children Jessica Nash of Luzerne, Maggie Wallowak of Kingston, Bill Karlotski and wife Denise of Hunlock Creek, Joyce Doyne and husband Tom of Luzerne, Dawn Seidel of Kingston, Jamie Karlotski of Mountain Top, Ellen Karlotski and grandson Nick (aka) Charlie Brown with whom she lived with, in Luzerne. She had twelve grandchildren, five great- grandchildren. A private viewing will be held for family and extended family of Eleanor on Monday from 6-8 PM at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a prayer service at 8:00 PM.
