Obituary of Francis John Gurnari

Francis John Gurnari February 3, 2014 Francis John Gurnari, 87, of Luzerne passed away on Monday at home. Born Nov. 14, 1926 to the late Bruno and Catherine Provenzino Gurnari. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne and prior to his retirement he worked for General Cigar and later Duplin Silk Mill. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Razvillas, brother Dominick, Joseph, Bruno Jr., Alfred. Serving are brothers, Larry of Swoyersville; Anthony of Larksville, Angelo of Luzerne; sisters, Ann Marie Padalski and Arlene Kane both of Swoyersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne with Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne. Family and Friends are asked to go directly to church.
