Obituary of Harold Barber

Harold Barber, Jr. December 2, 2014 Harold Barber JR. from Luzerne, nick name "Sonny", passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born on Feb. 27, 1940 in Wilkes-Barre. He was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Pollock Barber. He was preceded in death by sisters; Esther Anderson, Geraldine Roote, Margaret Dennis. He is survived by his daughter Cindy Wilson and her husband Frederick of Kingston; sisters, Judith Casey of Plymouth, Dorothy Gruver of Luzerne; brothers, Harry Barber of Swoyersville, Glenn Barber of Courtdale, James Barber of Kingston, and Michael Barber of Luzerne; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with Rev. James Quinn officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 pm. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
