Obituary of Tillie James

Tillie James, 103, formally of Hanover Green and Dallas, passed away on Tuesday at the General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born April 2, 1908 in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Dora Klimas Kazakewecz. Prior to her retirement she was a sewing machine operator in the garment industry. She was preceded in death by husband Evan James who died July 12, 1977 and sons, John James, Evan James, Robert James and sisters, Veronica Homza, Katherine Szakalun, Teresa Roschak; brothers, Frank Kane and Richard Kane. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Woodeshick and husband Patrick of Hanover Green; Nancy King and husband William of Dallas; ten grand children and many great and great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne.
