Pop never met a stranger, and that included me. Chris says when they went to the ballpark he would talk with everybody around them. I loved to listen to him tell me stories about his life. Especially when he talked about his time in the war because I learned so much and when he talked about his gardens because his whole face would just light up. He made me a welcome member of his family and even taught me to correctly pronounce my new name. I will miss him very much. I am so glad to have had the chance to know him.
