Josephine Remakus, 88, formally of Luzerne passed away on Sunday at Manor Care, Kingston, born in Luzerne, daughter of the late Mark and Theresa Kalac Gushanas.
She was preceded in death by husband Leo and son Leon.
She is survived by grandson Michael and wife Melissa of Luzerne, great grandchildren Zander and Alexa.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM in Holy Family Parish Luzerne. Interment will be in St. Ignatius, Pringle. Friends are asked to go directly to church. Arrangement by the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Luzerne.
