I tried to ask him how old his crane was, how to spell the name of the stuffed white tiger that rode on it was...he threw his hard hat to a worker and walked away from me!!! maybe because I was flying a kite the Tuesday afternoon of the Hotel Sterling demolition; holding thestring while asking him questions. Up until then I admired the guy. I still looked forward to getting to know him...

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. I know John loved tearing buildings down but also he was a good man who built a wonderful life for himself and his family with some setbacks I'm sure but all in all satisfied the requirements to help us all in God's Kingdom.
