Obituary of Mark A. Phillips

Mark A. Phillips September 27, 2013 Mark A. Phillips of Luzerne passed away on Friday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by his loving Family. Born in Fort Worth Texas, he was the son of the late Ronald and Joan Michaels Phillips, Sr. He was a graduated of Wyoming Valley West High School, class of 1973. Mark worked at several different jobs over his life time but he love working for Nardone's most of all. He was a member of the American Legion of Larksville. Mark was an avid fisherman and hunter and he loved being with his children. He is survived by Joan Phillips and his children, Luke and Kyle Phillips of Larksville; Sara Phillips of Luzerne. Sister Sally Scharpnick and brother, Ronald Phillips, Jr. both of Luzerne. Also their dog Duke and aunts, uncles, niece and nephews. A special thanks to best friend Cheryl Keefer for all her love and support. Memorial service will be held on Thursday Oct. 3 at 10:00 AM in the Bennett Presbyterian Church with Rev. James Quinn officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the church. Funeral arrangement are entrusted to the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne.
