Chester John Pollick, 69, of Dallas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family at Geisinger Hospital, Danville.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of Julia Stackalis Pollick and the late Chester Pollick. He graduated from Luzerne high school, worked most of his life out of Labor Union Local 215, Plains and then as a medical courier. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne and Sons of the American Legion, Dallas.
He was preceded in death by daughter Cami Jackson, granddaughter Arika Tyler, brother, Ronald Pollick and ex-wife Carol Vasicak.
He is survived by sons, Craig and his wife Dawn of Glen Lyon; Chester III of Trucksville; grandchildren, Tiana, Caven, Ayla, Chale, Kayden Pollick, Jesse Hartman, Kerri Mae Jackson. Brothers, Edward Pollick of New York, William Pollick of Ventura, CA; sister, Barbara Powers of Vero Beach, FL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, with Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 8:30 am until time of Mass at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne.
