Obituary of James William Kanarr

James William Kanarr, 52, of Huntington Mills passed away at Berwick Hospital, Berwick. Born in Kingston, son of Lydia Eddy Kanarr Bartleson and the late Edward Kanarr. He was a graduate of West Side Technical School and was employed by Mid State Lumber of Kingston as a truck driver. James was very much loved and will be missed by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Edward and brother, Edward James Kanarr and sister, Jacqueline Kanarr. Surviving besides is mother is his step-father Stanley Bartleson; son Colby Kluk; brother Gary Kanarr of Milano, Texas; sisters; Tina Shonk of Swoyersville; Debra Spade of North Carolina; Lori Black of Trout Run; Terri Scialpi of Hughestown and nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with Pastor Carol Coleman officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Loyalville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until time of service.
