Obituary of Annette P. Pilvalis

Annette Pilvalis June 10, 2014 Annette Pilvalis, 79, formally of Luzerne passed away on Tuesday at Golden Living Center, Plains Twp. Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Petronella Kundrakas Pilvalis. She was a graduate of Luzerne High School, prior to her retirement she was employed by Acme Store in the Narrows Shopping Center. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. She was preceded in death by brothers Francis and Joseph Pilvalis and a sister Gertrude Flanagan. She is survived by nieces, Diane Brown and husband James of Chambersburg; Colleen Flanagan of Severna Park, MD; nephew Martin Flanagan and wife Shelda of Glen Burnie, MD.; great-nieces, Erin and Megan Flanagan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne with Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Lehman.
