Obituary of Theresa Jastremski

Theresa Jastremski July 31, 2014 Theresa Jastremski, 79, of Sugar Notch passed away on Thursday July 31 at Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA, Scranton. Born in Sugar Notch, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Prymowicz Adamowicz. She was a graduate of Sugar Notch High School, member of Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch. The church was her life, she and her husband Joe spent many hours making pierogi and potato pancakes for the church bazaar. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe; sisters, Cecelia Drozdowski, Josephine Selmer; brothers, Edward and Frank Adamowicz. She is survived by children Joseph (Lisa) Jastremski of Wilkes-Barre, Mark at home, Marci Potorski of Pittston Twp., and her companion Chuck Healy. Grandchildren, Kristina, Janine, Alyssa, Madisen, Tyler, Ryan, Kyle and a great granddaughter Brynleigh; also a brother John Adamowicz of Fern Park, Florida and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch with Rev. Vincent Dang officiating. Interment will be in ST. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
