Obituary of Jessica A. Nash

Jessica A. Nash December 5, 2014 Jessica Nash, 64, of Luzerne passed away peacefully, with loved ones on Friday morning at ManorCare in Kingston. She was a loving, proud mother and grandmother who taught her family to be compassionate, strong, respectful, kind and most importantly independent. She instilled many values in them. She enjoyed playing on her iPad, going to the casino and catching up over a cup of coffee or five. She loved her family more than anything and was always there for those in need. She has touched many lives and will be greatly missed, she was truly a gem. She was born in Kingston, as the first child of the late William and Eleanor Stiles Karlotski. She was preceded in death by husband Richard. Surviving are her children, Kimberly and John Kolessar, Erica and Salvadore Wills, Rhena and Eric Chamberlain, David and Kelly Nash, Cara and Jeremy Snyder; grandchildren, Cassidy, Emily, Rook, Elizabeth, Kai, and Lumin; sisters, Mag Wallowak, Joyce Doyne, Dawn Siedel, Jamie Karlotski, Ellen Karlotski, and brother William Karlotski. Family and friends are welcome at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne, on Monday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The Nash family expresses heartfelt thanks to Dr. Patrick Kilduff, Hospice of the Scared Heart and especially the staff at ManorCare for taking such great care of Jess. They treated her as family and appreciated her strength, wit and sass.
