Obituary of Irene C. Matthews

Irene C. Matthews April 22, 2015 Irene C. Matthews, 90, of Luzerne Towers, formerly from Hanover Twp. passed away April 22, 2015 at the Meadows Nursing Home. Her husband Walter preceded her in death. Irene is survived by daughters Marlene Bartosiewicz of Plymouth Twp. and Nancy Klucking of Arizona, three grandsons and six great-grandsons. Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne with rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap Nation Cemetery with her husband. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 pm.
