Obituary of Elizabeth H. Ruddy

Elizabeth H. Ruddy July 4, 2015 Elizabeth H. Ruddy, 98, passed away on Saturday at Kingston Health Care Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John Anthony and Mary Cecelia McDaniels Conniff. She was a graduate of Harter High School, class of 1935 in Plymouth Twp. and prior to her retirement she was employed by McCrory's as a clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Ruddy; sons, Andrew J., John and Donald Ruddy; grandson-in-law Benjamin Zimmerman; brother Jack Conniff; sisters, Agnes Mikus, Mary Searles and Ellen Zapotak. Surviving is a daughter-in-law Ruthanne Ruddy; grandchildren, Cynthia Zimmerman of Edwardsville, Andrew Ruddy and wife Kate of Trucksville, David Ruddy and wife Sharon of Kingston; great grandchildren, Emma and Veronica Zimmerman, Andrew, Matthew and Ian Ruddy and great great grandson Andrew Ruddy; sisters, Catherine Papula, Theresa Tibus and Ann Beshada. Elizabeth was a sweet, wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She will be truly missed by everyone who new her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, with Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville.
