Alda Humonosky, 97, of Forty Fort, passed away on Friday evening at Celtic Health Care Hospice Unit, South Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Swoyersville, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Leonilda Sigismundi Bargagna. Prior to her retirement she was employed by United Pants as a seamstress. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
She is preceded in death by brothers, John and Theodore Bargagna; sisters, Baldina Guzo, Edith Paulovich, Ida Bargagna.
Surviving are daughters, Donna Guravich, Forty Fort and Diane Moll of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kellie Medivitz, California and Dawn Moll. North Caroline; great grandchildren, Olivia Medivitz, Morgan and Emery Grace Boonshaft; brother, Elmer Berganya, Wilkes-Barre; also several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Interment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30 am.
