Kenneth R. Barber, SR. December 4, 2015 Kenneth R. Barber, 67, of Luzerne passed away on Friday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Luzerne, he was the son of the late Fred and Beatrice Zimmerman Barber. He was a Vietnam Veteran; worked at Tobyhanna as an electronic mechanic. Was a member of the Bennett Presbyterian Church, Luzerne; lifetime member of Vietnam Veteran Association, DAV and the NRA. He is survived by his wife the former Joyce McDaniels; sons, Kenneth Barber, Jr., Harding; Fred Barber III and companion Raeann Langdon, Forty Fort; godchildren, Molly Puscavage, Wilkes-Barre, Diane Reese, Dallas; grandchildren, Brent Barber, Margaret Barber, Colby and Jackson Puscavage, Rachael Langdon, Katie Conahan; brother, John Barber, Dallas; sisters, Diane Amos, Courtdale; Sharon Welsh, Avoca ; Brenda Kuranovich, Exeter. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with Rev. James Quinn officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
