Obituary of Richard W. Karlotski

Richard W. Karlotski April 12, 2016 Richard W. Karlotski 82 of Luzerne, passed away on Tuesday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in Luzerne, he was the son of the late Zigmund and Anna Muscavage Karlotski. He was a graduate of the Luzerne High School, class of 1951. He spent two years in the Merchant Marines sailing the Great Lakes. He then became involved with the Rotor Rooter Corp. For the next 40 years, he owned and operated Clean Sewer Service. Rich was a charter member of the Bunker Hill Rod and Gun Club. He spent many years enjoying hunting and fishing with his club buddies at the cabin in Sullivan County. He also enjoyed poker with his friends and horse racing at Pocono Downs. Rich was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Zigmund, Daniel and Robert. Surviving are his son, Richard F. Karlotski and his companion, Marilyn Fravel of Plymouth; daughter, Linda Krzywicki and her husband Alan of NH. Grandchildren, Amara Hartshorn, Alan, Thomas and Jaynee Krzywicki and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
