Obituary of Joseph Zera

Joseph Zera May 14, 2016 Joseph Zera, 77, of Forty Fort passed away suddenly on Saturday at home. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary Stoshick Zera. He was a graduate of Luzerne High School. Was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement he worked as a postal clerk in Dallas and before that at Western Union, New York City. He was preceded in death by brother, Edward Zera. Surviving is his longtime companion Sharon Hindmarsh; beloved dog Chipper; brother Leonard Zera and wife Sue, Luzerne. Also several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with Deacon Peter Smith officiating.
