Obituary of Arthur H. Whiting

Arthur H. Whiting, Jr. January 12, 2017 Arthur H. Whiting, Jr. 86, of Courtdale, passed away on Thursday at the Meadow Nursing Home, Dallas. Born in Clarks Summit, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jenny Seeley Whiting. He was a union electrician, working out of the IBEW Union. He was preceded in death by wife the former Arlene Novak ; daughter Doreen Kozick , brothers William, Milton, and Norman Whiting , sisters Elata Muessig, Erma Sneidker, Ethel Williams and Norie Brace , and Great-Grandson Eric Anthony Iorio Jr. He is survived by grandchildren; Brandy Butler and husband Keith, Dallas; Crystal Stash and husband Matt, Dallas: Deann Kozick McGuire and Amber Donnelly ; great grandchildren, Kymber, Delaney, Irelyn, Gia, Lia, Furia, Christian and Jenevive; sisters, Peggy Keefer and Pearl Stasko and brother-in-law James Novak. Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Betz- Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with Rev. James Quinn officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the Family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 am.
