Obituary of James Sabol

James Sabol January 17, 2017 James Sabol, 60, of Exeter passed away on Tuesday at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Kingston, son of Tillie Romanauskas Sabol and the late Anthony J. Sabol, Sr. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, class of 1974; and East Stroudsburg University, class of 1978. He was employed by Friedman Electric as an electric supplies salesman for 36 years. Jim was a devout catholic, member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston. Jim was an avid runner, devoted family man and also was hard working in everything he did. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife of 35 years the former Lorraine Voitek; daughters, Laura Harding and husband Nicholas with expected grandson in February, of Wyoming and Lindsey Sabol and boyfriend Jeremiah Gonzalo of Exeter. Sister, Maryann Thomas and husband Edwin of Appalachian, NY; brothers, Anthony Jr. and wife Coleen of St. Charles, IL; John Sabol of Kingston. In-laws Daniel and Anne Voitek of West Wyoming. He will be greatly missed by so many. Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston.
