Obituary of Marlene DiBuo

Marlene DiBuo January 23, 2017 Marlene DiBuo, 74, of Luzerne passed away unexpectedly on Monday at home. Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice Kazokas Masonis. She was a 1961 graduate of Luzerne High School, prior to her retirement she was a pharmacy tech at North East Pharmacy, Wilkes-Barre. Marlene was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Andrew, Norman, Edward Masonis and sister, Beatrice Masonis. She is survived by her loving husband of forty nine years Frank; son, Frank DiBuo and wife Donna of Luzerne; daughter, Michelle Appleman and husband Thomas of Stocker Town, Pa.; grandchildren, Maria DiBuo, Alex Alcaraz, Adrianah Appleman, Katie Appleman; sisters, Carol Lewis and Shirley Carter, both of Forty Fort; brothers, Jerome Masonis of Alexandrea, Virginia and George Masonis of Hunlock Creek. Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
