Obituary of Lynn Harris Keller
Lynn H. Keller, 85, of Luzerne passed away on Wednesday at Hospice Community Care, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Centre County, he was the son of the late David and Louise Stover Keller. He attended Bellefonte High School, was a Sergeant in the United States Army, during World War II. Prior to his retirement he was a Lieutenant at State Correctional Institution in Dallas and before that Rockview Prison, Centre County. He was Past Commander of Luzerne American Legion; member of Swoyersville American Legion; VFW Anthracite Post 283, Kingston; King David Lodge #763 F. & A. M. and Irem Temple in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by brothers, David, William, Grant, Howard Keller; sisters, Helen Parks, Madge Long, Sue Neff, Bell Keller and son-in-law Ken Rushinski.
Surviving is his wife the former Josephine DeVinney; children, Gail Richards and husband John of Kingston; Sharon Pinnacoli and husband Frank of Hudson; Tammy Rushinski at home; Thomas Keller and wife Joan of Dallas; Douglas Keller and wife Alice of Pringle; Michael Keller and wife Laura of Throop. Grandchildren, Jacqueline Richards Rosencrans, John Matt Richards, Frank Pinnacoli, Jr., Jessica Pinnacoli Giser, Stephen Pinnacoli, Amanda Rushinski Semilia, Sarah Rushinski, Kenney Rushinski, Brian Keller, Jillian Keller, Michelle Keller, Chrissy Keller Martin, Scott Keller, Audrey Keller, Michael Keller and great grandchildren, Kayla, Zac, Connor Rosencrans; Frank Pinnacoli III; Joseph Pinnacoli and Tyler Martin; also a sister, Fran Keller of Bellefonte.
The family would like to send their sincere thanks to Dr. John Kish and staff for all their help and support throughout the years, also Hospice of the Sacred Heart and Hospice Community Care.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 in Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with Rev. Joseph Elston officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donation can be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart or Hospice Community Care.
