Obituary of Margaret Theresa Kolesa

Margaret Theresa Kolesa March 10, 2017 Margaret Theresa Kolesa. 89, of Luzerne passed away peacefully at home, Friday Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lesko Olenik. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, prior to her retirement, she was employed by Leslie Fay, Plains Twp. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Kolesa, Sr.; sisters, Josephine Olenik and Johanna Pilok. She is survived by children, Marie Kolesa, Luzerne; Walter Kolesa, Jr. and wife Jayne, West Wyoming; David Kolesa, Luzerne; grandsons, Brian and Keith; sister, Catherine Ludorf, Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne with Rev. Joseph Elston officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephens Cemetery, Lehman. Family and friends may call on Monday from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne.
