Obituary of John Edward Fowler

John Fowler, 54 of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Sunday at Hospice Community Care in GSW after a battle with cancer. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Joseph Studley and Marion Emily Haraschak Fowler. He attended Wyoming Valley West High School, prior to his illness he was employed by TSE, Inc. Before that he was with Linde Enterprises of Honesdale as a foreman. Surviving is his companion and best friend of 28 years Irene Fitzpatrick, son Brenton Fitzpatrick at home, daughter Jennifer Fitzpatrick of Wilkes-Barre and granddaughter Kyla Mann. Brothers, Michael and wife Mary of Kingston Twp.; Francis of Wilkes-Barre; Steven and wife Mary of Miners Mills; Joseph and Robert both of Kingston; sisters, Sally Seris and husband Frank of Luzerne; Susan Baritski and husband Bruce of Luzerne; Karen Fowler and companion Robert of Swoyersville. The family would like to thank Jamie and Gary Valvano and all TSE workers, Debbie from Amedisys, Hospice Community Care, Dr. Scott Prince and staff for all their love and support. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday evening at 8:30 PM at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with Rev. Michael Zipay officiating.
