Obituary of Shirley D. Bogumil

Shirley June Davis Bogumil January 16, 2018 Shirley June Davis Bogumil of Highland Manor, Exeter, formally from Luzerne, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. She was born to the late John Chester Davis and Loree Fish Davis on June 5, 1930. Shirley was a graduate of Kingston High School. Throughout her professional career she worked as a dental nurse for more than 30 years for several local dentists. An active member of Holy Family Parish for many years, she participated in numerous related activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Jane Davis. She is survived by her six children, Susan Yarmel and husband Vincent, Courtdale; Marcyana Mead, Deltona, Florida; E.L.Bogumil, Indianapolis, Indiana; Margaret Connell and husband Thomas, Moosic; Frank Bogumil and wife Lois, Pittston Twp.; Clara Hudson Sieber and husband Mark, Norfolk, Virginia and sister, Phyllis Franks and husband Robert, Mountain top. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family offers sincere thank you to the staff of Highland Manor, for their patience, compassion and exceptional care. Privet funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
