Obituary of Helene J. Brdaric

Helene J. Brdaric February 26, 2018 Helene J. Brdaric, 88, of Luzerne passed away Monday morning at Celtic Hospice, South Wilkes-Barre. Daughter of the late Alexander and Christina Luzetsky Lazar. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Helene loved polka dancing, made the best potato pancakes and to drive her car like she stole it. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John Brdaric, Sr., son John, Jr. infant brother Nicholas; brothers, Michael, Peter, John, George, Steve Lazar; sisters, Margaret Levitsky, Irene Thomas, Anna Yatsko and Mary Shara. Surviving are her grandchildren; Jamie and husband Bryan Fedor and John and wife Carrie both of Kingston Twp., great grandchildren, Colbie and Brooklyn Brdaric, Ashlyn Mott, and Life companion Mike Belak The funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, with Rev. Walter Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming. Family and friends may call on Friday from 8:30 am – 9:30 am at the funeral home.
