Obituary of Thomas George Mulcavage

Thomas George Mulcavage July 24, 2018 Thomas George Mulcavage, 82, formally of Lancaster, PA., passed away on Tuesday at the home of his daughter in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born in Luzerne, he was the son of the late Walter and Clare Whitley, Mulcavage. He was a graduate of St. Nicholas High School, Wilkes-Barre and Drexel University, Philadelphia. He was a United States Marine. He was preceded in death by a son John Mulcavage and daughter Joanne Mulcavage. Surviving is his wife of 58 years the former Bernadine Whitman, children; Jaqueline Young and husband Bernell, Harveys Lake; Richard Mulcavage and wife Noi, Thailand; Paul Mulcavage and wife Jennifer, Delaware; Karen Mulcavage and husband Shahir Pawanchik, Malaysia; Lisa Cleaver, Harveys Lake; Lesley DeLane and husband David, Rock Island, Tennessee; Thomas Mulcavage II, Charlotte, NC; Caroline Mulcavage and husband Andres Garcia, Charlotte, NC.; Andrew Mulcavage and wife Alicia, Lancaster; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brothers, John Bangs, Colonial Beach, Virginia and Terry Bangs, Winter Park, FL.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
