Obituary of James M. Kennelly

James M. Kennelly October 30, 2018 James M. Kennelly, 75, of Luzerne, passed away on Tuesday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, son of the late George and Mary Hurley Kennelly, He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Vector Security, as a dispatcher. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. He was preceded in death by his infant son Edward. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Lillian Ann Tregan and son James Patrick Kennelly and wife Carole, of Dallas. A Funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, with Rev Walter Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Church, Shavertown. Family and friend may call at the funeral home on Friday from 8:30 – 9:30 am.
