Obituary of Mary Michaels

Mary Duda Michaels November 28, 2018 Mary Duda Michaels, 87, of Luzerne passed away on Wednesday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by her loving children. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Albert Michaels in 1992. She is survived by children; Mary Ann Pisano and husband Tony, Pittston Twp.; Marie Kostrobala and husband George, Sweet Valley; Joseph Michaels and wife Patty, Kingston Twp.; Judy Schoenwetter, Luzerne; grandchildren, Kelley Kostrobala, Kevin Kostrobala and wife Mary; Sarah Martindale and husband Jerry; Joe Michaels; great grandchildren, Katie, Nathan, Kara, Rebecca Kostrobala. Family would like to thank Heart Land Hospice, doctors and nurses of SICU Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and caring neighbors. Mary was a member of Holy family parish and its Altar and Rosary Society. Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Interment will be in St. John Nepomucene Cemetery, Courtdale. Family and friend may call on Friday from 5-7 pm.
