Obituary of Jean T Kaminski

Jean T. Kaminski, 86 of Hanover Twp. died Wednesday at the Kindred Hospital, Wyoming Valley. Jean was born in Hanover Twp. daughter of the late Anthony F. and Stella Rominski Kaminski. She attended St. Mary's Polish School and Hanover Twp. Memorial High School. Prior to her retirement she was a Human Service Representative for Hazleton/Nanticoke MHMR. She was a life- long member of Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church of which her family was founding parish members. She was preceded in death by son Michael E. ("Stosh") Kaminski and brothers, Anthony E., Stanley J. and Joseph J. Kaminski. Jean is survived by son Barry J. Kaminski of Bear Creek Village, daughter Judi Passetti of Hanover Twp., grandchildren Tony Passetti and Michael A. Kaminski both of Hanover Twp. and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A hard working woman, the values of integrity, humility and compassion were instilled by her example. Her tenacity accompanied by her unique sense of humor will never be replaced. Family and friends are requested to meet at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, 420 Main Road, Buttonwood section of Hanover Twp. Saturday between 9:30am and 11:00am for visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 from the church with Father Andrew Sinnott and Father Paul Lourdraj Pudhota officiating. Interment will be in the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Cemetery, West Nanticoke. Funeral arrangements are by the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St., Luzerne.
