Obituary of Janet A. Sheposki

Janet A. Sheposki, 78, of Luzerne passed away Friday at Kingston Commons, Kings-ton. Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sadie Pastula Sheposki. She was a graduate of Luzerne High School and received certificates from New York University in the X-ray technician and dental technician programs. Prior to her retirement, she worked for different area medical doctors, especially for Dr. Reagan. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. She loved the opera and made many trips to New York City to enjoy the opera. She is survived by a brother, Anthony Sheposki, Luzerne; and numerous cousins. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home Inc., 568 Bennett St., Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Buri-al at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, with the Rev. Richard Fox officiating. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
