Obituary of Chester Koshinski

Chester Koshinski, 82, of Pittston, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Swoyersville, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Amelia Ewashko Koshinski. Prior to his retirement, he was on the production at Muskin Swimming Pools. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ann Marie Savoia; brothers, Henry, William, Walter, Edward, Raymond and Albert. Surviving are his sister, Edna Hooper, Luzerne; brother, Eugene Koshinski, Larksville; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 9:30am Friday from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home Inc., 568 Bennett St., Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Holy Family Parish Church with the Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call from 6 to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
