Edward Kearney posted a condolence
Please accept my heartfelt condolences and sincere sorrow on the passing of your husband, father and grandfather. As a student of his, class of 1978, he taught me much more that the art of radio and television
production. He was my mentor, teacher and a great friend. After graduation, I have stopped by the school several times to see him and see how he was doing. Those who say, those who can not do . . . teach,
didn't know Mr. Martin. In the three years under his guidance,
he had inspired me and all of his students to be the best they could be, not only as students,
but in life. I am a better person after having the opportunity to meet him. I never knew him to have a harsh word about anyone. He had the ability to deal with some
very problematic kids with the grace and understanding. He walked humbly through life, never mentioning his service to our country, and his community. I wasn't aware of his lifelong Eucharistic Minister duties,
but was not a bit surprised when hearing of it. As you go through life you meet meany people,
meany you 'ed like to forget. Mr. Martin is on my most remembered list.
I have thought of him often and will continue to do so in the future.
God bless you and keep you in your families time of morning.
