My deepest sympathies to Mary Ann's family. I remember the good times when we were kids visiting each other and playing games. Then Mary Ann began to encounter difficulties with eye sight. We lost touch with one another but within the family I always heard about how she was doing. She held up where most of us would have failed. I will always remember Mary Ann and keep her in my prayers.

My Aunt Maryann was one of the first people to show me what it truly meant to be positive, upbeat, and strong, no matter what difficulties may come in life. She loved music and encouraged me to play the piano. The first piano I had belonged to her and I am so thankful for that gift. I'll always remember her as cheerful, independent, and an eternal optimist. I know she is in a better place now, shining as she was meant to. -Laura Hrivnak
