It is 9:50 am and I just learned about this news... I am deeply saddened to hear of this too late to attend. Right now services are starting, and I wish I could be there to honor Aunt Clara, and share with everyone how much she ( a sweet great-aunt ) meant to me. I would have driven to be there today!
Even though we did not live in the same state, the few times we saw each other in my childhood she was a hearty soul, kind, generous, and always made it known how important faith and church were. Even in adulthood I stayed in contact with her, she reminded me so much of my grandfather, Zigmund, her brother, it was a treat to send and receive her letters.
Her warmth, and generous soul will never be forgotten, and has a place in my heart forever. I will do my best to show these qualities to my four children. We will remember her at St. Edwards the Confessor Church in New Fairfield CT.
God Bless you Aunt Phyllis, and everyone who cared for her in Dallas& Luzerne.
Love,
Sarah
