Peg,
My second mother, friend and sister; you were family to me for nearly half a century.
Your SPECIAL smile, wit, mischief making, Pegisms and childlike personality brought so much to my heart. I have so many wonderful and special memories and you are still with me; you remain a part of my heart.
I could say many more wonderful things as you certainly made Life very interesting and Patsy and I had many laughs with you and we are still laughing.
I Love you and your family,
Trudy

Oh Peg, I love you, my children love you. I have three precious memories to share. As a fellow diabetic, you tried to take my blood sugar count, albeit with the wrong end of the test strip. Despite our suggestion that you were doing it wrong, you pushed it so hard that I think the imprint of the square blunt end is still on my finger. You taught me how to make pierogi. Patsy left the house fearing the worst but you and I had a lovely day. The only thing Patsy found amiss was the chia seed garnish you and I thought was black pepper! Lastly the time it was so hot and humid in RI but no air conditioning because Peg was always cold. Patsy and I sat there, dripping with sweat in spite of three fans pointed directly at us. There you sat, Peg, the lady poised and cool -- I guess that's why your children call you the Queen of La De Da. So grateful to have you in our lives, we will miss you so much. Love Barbara, Gabby and Max

Pat, Teddy and the Shonk family, we are all so deeply saddened to hear of Peg's passing. She was such a lively personality and always good for a laugh. Her eyes sparkled in that sneaky way which was so funny to all. You could see as she sat there, so quiet and yet something was cooking in her mind.
We love the stories, we love her personality and we will miss her forever. Our warmest sympathies to you all.
Love,
The Contillos

I have wonderful memories of Aunt Peg. I loved staying at her house with cousin Patsy. Aunt Peg treated me just like a daughter: she bologna curled my hair just like Patsy’s and taught me how to cool down tea in a saucer. Aunt Peg was always smiling and never complained about anything. She brought out the best in others and never had a mean word to say! She will be greatly missed by many!❤️
